There's something to be said about loving your job and loving your life. It's something that I hadn't been able to say the first time I was in LA, that was for sure. Life, yes, I definitely grew to love life while I was here but the job was a whole other story. It was just...too much too soon I think. Coming in right as holiday season was starting up with a vengeance was insanity to say the least. But it was worth it. Every second of it was worth it.
I'm the happiest that I've ever been and I have my friends, and of course Alex, to thank for it. Going to Oregon was a great thing, I met some wonderful people there who have become dear friends (Jackie I'm looking at you!) and Alex and I got even closer. And now we're back in LA with those friends and then some. Some of the people I knew in Australia are even here and that...was interesting to find out. At first I wasn't sure I wanted to see them but it's actually awesome. I'm in a completely different place now than I was then and it's obvious that they are as well.
So, yes. Life is good. And soon my office at the mall will be decorated in fabulous photography and I have some other ideas to showcase local artists as well. Stay tuned for that, ladies and gents!
